چکیده

Single molecule detection and analysis play important roles in many current biomedical researches. The deep-nanoscale hotspots, being excited confined a plasmonic nanocavity, make it possible to simultaneously enhance the nonlinear light-matter interactions molecular Raman scattering for label-free detections. Here, we theoretically show that nanocavity formed tip-enhanced (TERS) system can also achieve valid optical trapping as well TERS signal single molecule. In addition, responses of metallic tip substrate film change their intrinsic physical properties, leading modulation force signal. results demonstrate new degree freedom brought by nonlinearity effectively modulating level. This proposed platform shows great potential various fields research need high-precision surface imaging.

Raman Scattering From a Single Molecule between Two Metal Nanoparticles

The ability to perform optical sectioning is one of the great advantages of laserscanning microscopy, be it confocal or multiphoton microscopy. This comes however, at a cost of long image acquisition times, of an order of tens of milliseconds, due to the serial acquisition of data points. We show that by introducing spatiotemporal pulse shaping techniques it is possible to obtain full-frame dep...

Statistics of single-molecule surface enhanced Raman scattering signals: fluctuation analysis with multiple analyte techniques.

The mathematical background, based on a variation of the principal component analysis (PCA) method, is developed for the understanding of fluctuating multiple analyte single-molecule (SM) surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) signals; with emphasis on the bianalyte SERS technique developed recently. The method and its significance are presented to provide a systematic framework with which se...

Combined optical trapping and single-molecule fluorescence

BACKGROUND Two of the mainstay techniques in single-molecule research are optical trapping and single-molecule fluorescence. Previous attempts to combine these techniques in a single experiment - and on a single macromolecule of interest - have met with little success, because the light intensity within an optical trap is more than ten orders of magnitude greater than the light emitted by a sin...

Vlasov simulations of trapping and inhomogeneity in Raman scattering

We study stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) in laser-fusion conditions with the Eulerian Vlasov code ELVIS. Back SRS from homogeneous plasmas occurs in subpicosecond bursts and far exceeds linear theory. Forward SRS and re-scatter of back SRS are also observed. The plasma wave frequency downshifts from the linear dispersion curve, and the electron distribution shows flattening. This is consisten...
